It’s been a long journey but I’m finally comfortable being myself. And I want you to be too.
I consider my work to be a collaboration between you and me. Whether I’m respecting the boundaries of true documentary style or we are exchanging ideas and inspiration in the moment, I want us to sit in the feeling of the moment.. together. I want you to take the time to feel why you are here, in front of me.
What do you want to highlight from this time of your life?
I want you to look at your photographs and truly feel the moments as if you were just there. When I look at this photograph, taken by my lovely tripod, I can feel the slight breeze that day. I remember the struggle to get Orin to wear pants. And the short window of time we had to take this photo before Isla cried for the beach ball again. I want to make photographs you can feel, just like the breeze I can feel from that day, the joy we had to be outside in the warm weather.
There is not one day that goes by that I don’t think “this life truly is magical and beautiful”. I am fascinated by who you are, what moves you and how I can best capture you. Just as you are.
I am a documentary wedding and family photographer, forever doing my best to capture you as you are now, in this season of life, in this moment. My gifts come from a long line of artistic women, who loved me for who I am and pursued their own artistic endeavors where they could. I honor their gifts by pursuing my own. I hope you’ll join me.
